Is it too late to say sorry? Justin Bieber got into a fight outside his hotel in downtown Cleveland on Wednesday, June 8, and TMZ obtained footage of the brawl.
According to the site, shortly after 11 p.m., the 22-year-old superstar shoved a much bigger man. As seen in the video, the unidentified man then lightly punched Bieber on the side of the head, so the singer came back with a hook to the man’s face. Several onlookers jumped in to break up the fight, and the “Sorry” singer was tackled to the ground.
Bieber, who was wearing Cleveland Cavaliers apparel, was in town for game 3 of the NBA finals against the Golden State Warriors. It’s still unclear what caused the fight.
Cleveland police told Us Weekly that they didn’t receive any calls to the hotel and no arrests were made. “Looks like hotel security may have broken something up. We did not respond,” a rep for the police department tells Us.
The following day, the Grammy winner took to Instagram to let everyone know he’s fine after the altercation. “Not a scratch on this pretty boy,” he wrote in a since-deleted post on Thursday, June 9.
Recently, the “Love Yourself” crooner has been taking a break from his Purpose world tour before it picks back up again in late June. Yesterday, he debuted the music video for his latest single, “Company,” which gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at his life, including scenes from globe-trotting trips, his recording studio and backstage on his world tour.
