Sunday was a bad day for the Biebs. Justin Bieber tried to cop with his Grammys 2013 shut-out as well as major technical difficults with his livestream — only to be verbally slammed by The Black Keys' drummer Patrick Carney, who won four Grammys that evening.

When Carney, 32, was asked by TMZ on Feb. 10 about Bieber not receiving any nominations at the Grammys this year, he didn't tiptoe around his feelings. "Grammys are for, like, music, not for money … and he's making a lot of money," he said of the singer, 18. "He should be happy."

The diss apparently got back to Bieber. The younger singer lashed out on Twitter Tuesday, writing, "The black keys drummer should be slapped around haha."

Carney saw Bieber's message and retweeted it with a sad face. Carney also teasingly tweeted, "I need to be bare butt spanked."

But the drummer didn't apologize for the insult. Instead, he's been retweeting all the comments Bieber's fans have been sending his way — and egging them on.

One Belieber wrote, "Patrick Carney 95,000 followers. Justin Bieber 34 million followers, need I say more?" Carney replied, "If you feel like it then please do."

And he didn't seem to mind the threats that were pouring into his account. "So many thirsty Tweens," Carney sniped.
