ORIGINAL STORY: Ready for fight club? Justin Theroux may have just taken an inadvertent (or not) swipe at Brad Pitt with one of his recent Instagram posts. Find out more in the video above, and detailed below!
The Leftovers actor, 45, posted a graffiti design created by artist Nick Flatt on Saturday, October 29, which says “F–k Brad Pitt.” The remark can be found in pink paint (look closely!) on the right.
The dig can be hard to find — and even Theroux may have missed it. In the mural, a woman giving the middle finger is surrounded by several other topics, such as “f–k war,” “f–k steroids,” “f–k cocaine” and “f–k racism.”
Theroux’s caption — expressing understandable angst over the final days of the U.S. presidential election — doesn’t allude to Pitt, 52, either. “#currentelectionmood,” the Girl on the Train star captioned the snapshot. “#berlin #graffiti #f–kingnickflatt.”
Pitt, of course, has a history with Theroux’s wife, Jennifer Aniston. The pair were married from 2000 to 2005 before he moved on with his now estranged wife, Angelina Jolie.
Back in September, Jolie, 41, filed for divorce after two years of marriage. The Maleficent actress currently has full custody of their kids — Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne — as the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services continue their investigation of Pitt for alleged child abuse.
Theroux was asked about Brangelina’s messy split during a September 26 interview with Business Insider. “As a child of divorce, all I can say is that’s terrible news for those children, and that’s all you can really say,” he said at the time. “It’s boring to sort of comment on anything else. People are having a bad time. That’s horrible.”
