Who would want to drink this away? Justin Timberlake made a special guest appearance at the 2015 Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday, Nov. 4, in Nashville, Tenn.
The “Suit & Tie” singer, 34, joined country crooner Chris Stapleton on stage at the Bridgestone Arena for two extra soulful performances that practically stole the show.
First the pair sang Stapleton’s hit “Tennessee Whiskey” before transitioning into Timberlake’s jam “Drink You Away” from The 20/20 Experience.
The crowd roared and sang along, dancing as the former boy bander’s melodic voice belted out the lyrics. In the audience was the first-time father’s wife, Jessica Biel, who grooved to her hubby’s music.
Immediately following the performance, fans took to social media, freaking out over the epic appearance.
“If you didn’t get to see the @ChrisStapleton and @jtimberlake CMA performance tonight, do yourself a favor and go watch it right now,” @cgkelsey tweeted.
@LovingYou100975 added, “Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton killed it tonight!! Best performance tonight! #CMAawards #ChrisStapleton #justintimberlake.”
