This is so sweet and sad. Kaley Cuoco shared a touching Instagram post on Thursday, December 31, after her dog Petey, a Chihuahua-dachshund mix, died.
“Anyone who knows me, knows Petey,” the Big Bang Theory actress, 30, captioned a montage of four pics with her pup. “He was basically the first dog I ever had… I was gifted him on my sweet 16. My folks gave him the greatest life and he taught us what it meant to love an adoption pup. I have since named my corporation after him (peteypie inc) and he has brought a lifetime of joy and laughs to our entire family. I know he will now enjoy doggie heaven. This little guy, I will never ever forget.”
The blonde beauty — who separated from husband Ryan Sweeting in September 2015 — opened up about her tough year in November at the Stand Up for Pits event in Hollywood.
"My two pits have made this last year so much better for me," the actress told the audience, as tears streamed from her eyes.
In October, the animal lover — who has a pit bull mix, Norman, and a pit puppy, Ruby — welcomed another adopted puppy into her home, a month after her split from Sweeting.
“Welcome to the family Chester Cuoco,” she wrote on Instagram. “#couldnthelpmyself”
Cuoco — who turned to her four-legged friends after her split from the tennis pro, 28 — also adopted a new horse, Zaza, in October.
“I’m feeling completely overwhelmed with the outpouring of kindness and support from the people that surround me and from those I have never even met,” she wrote on Instagram on October 21. “I want you to know, I read all your comments and your sweet words have touched me deeply.”
