Kanye West Heads Out In NYC — With Bodyguard — After Kim Kardashian’s Robbery

Kanye West was accompanied by a bodyguard while out in NYC on Tuesday, October 4, one day after Kim Kardashian’s terrifying Paris robbery.

The rapper, 39, appeared solemn as he kept his head down while walking out of the Airbnb that the couple are renting. He wore a large hoodie, beige jacket and green pants.

Kanye West is seen in Soho on October 4, 2016 in NYC.

One day earlier, Kardashian, 35, was robbed at gunpoint at the Hôtel de Pourtalès during Paris Fashion Week in France. Five assailants disguised themselves as policeman and stole more than $10 million of jewelry. The Selfish author was tied up, gagged and carried into the bathroom during the incident. Her bodyguard Pascal Duvier was watching over her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner at a nearby club at the time.

“She thought there was going to be a sexual assault or that she was going to be killed in the bathroom. They did not speak English. Kim was hysterically crying, begging for her life, telling them about her babies,” an insider told Us Weekly. “After they left she was able to wiggle her hands out of the tie and then she was able to get the rest of the stuff off of her.”

Kardashian’s rep told Us that she was shaken, but “physically unharmed.” The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star reunited with West and their two children — North, 3, and Saint, 10 months — at their downtown apartment in NYC on Monday. West canceled his two concerts in Detroit and Philadelphia this week and rescheduled them for December.

“Kanye doesn’t care about anything that was taken — he just cares that Kim is safe,” a source says in the new issue of Us Weekly. “She’s beside herself.”

Kardashian’s robbery is still under investigation. On Tuesday, a Paris police source told Us that it may have even been an inside job.

“Detectives are satisfied that the robbers could have easily tricked their way into Kardashian’s apartment block, [but] it is not clear how they got into her actual flat,” the insider explained. “We are dealing with a young woman who was practically alone with a hugely valuable amount of jewelry. She would never open the door in the middle of the night in these circumstances, so who did if it wasn’t opened with a key? There were no signs of forced entry, but there’s also no proof that a key was used.”
