Kanye West Says He Reads Your Online Comments!

He may actually be reading those mean tweets! Kanye West stopped by Real 92.3’s Big Boy’s Neighborhood radio show in L.A. on Friday, June 3, to drop a new song, and he opened up about reading online comments, his family and more.

The Life of Pablo rapper, 38, is infamous for his Twitter rants, and though they’ve caused some problems before, he has no regrets. “We’re going to be gone in 100 years. I can’t say enough,” he said.

Speaking of Internet behavior, West revealed he reads comments about himself, but nothing hurts his feelings. “I like it. Any comments or whatever,” he said. “Hypebeast is one of my favorite sites to go to. They’re hilarious. It’s just the funniest comments and stuff.…I go read it. Wake up in the morning, check it out, read some comments. I got this line on ‘Saint Pablo,’ checking Instagram comments to crowdsource my self-esteem. I was saying that sarcastically.”

The only comments that do bother Yeezy: anything about his wife, Kim Kardashian, their daughter, North, 2, or son Saint, 5 months. “I’m crazy about my kids. I’m crazy about Kim,” he said. “I’m so happy to be a father. I know when I talk about my music I get amped up. I wanna sit and listen. I want to learn what my daughter has to say. What she learns. I just want to learn how she learns in this world. I’m extremely protective.”

His daughter was even part of his motivation for expanding his career in fashion. “When I left Nike for Adidas, I did it for my daughter,” he said, referring to his deal with Adidas to produce his Yeezy sneakers. “There was an opportunity to grow. There was love and admiration at Adidas. This was to make a better life for my daughter.”

The dad of two also addressed one more controversial topic: his feud with Taylor Swift. He defended his claims that he warned the pop star about the verse on his track Famous, where he raps: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.” “Yes, I told her that we was going to say that,” he said. “I didn’t tell her. I asked her how she felt about it,” the “All Day” rapper clarified.

During the radio show, West debuted the new track “Champions,” which features several other artists, including 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane and Travis Scott, and features lyrics about being “fresh out of debt.” Earlier this year, West wrote on Twitter that he was $53 million in personal debt, but his wife later tweeted she paid it off after getting a big check from her Kim Kardashian: Hollywood video game.
