Now we know! The identity of the mystery man wearing the camo shirt in the Kardashian-Jenner Thanksgiving family photo has been revealed.
While the most members of the reality TV family were easily identified in the group portrait, a man standing to the right of Scott Disick did not look familiar to many eagle-eyed fans. Kardashian family followers replied to Kylie Jenner's snapshot on Instagram, questioning whether this person was photobombing the famous family's pic, but it turns out that he's nearly like family — especially to Kanye West.
TMZ reported on Monday, Nov. 30, that the man's name is J. Sakiya Sandifer, and he grew up with the world-famous rapper in Chicago. The two even co-authored the 2009 book Thank You and You're Welcome. Sandifer is the founder of We Think LLC, a company he launched in 2006. The creative entrepreneur is also the author of his own book, Think Think Think and Think Again.
The scribe is one of the many Kardashian family defenders. After Tim Gunn repeatedly made scathing remarks about the famous family and West's fashion collection, Sandifer slammed the Project Runway mentor for his commentary. Gunn told HuffPost of the Yeezy line in early November: "I think they're a bunch of dumb clothes. Just basic pieces … He won't [like that I said this], but let me tell you, the whole Kardashian clan doesn't like me, so no surprise there."
Sandifer tweeted soon after on Nov. 14, "Enjoy your way out @TimGunn … you know we're coming & your opinions will be irrelevant by 2020 … Congratulations also #youvemadethelist."
Sandifer was a part of the Kimye 2014 wedding extravaganza. He was paired to walk down the aisle with Kylie, who is featured on the far right of the Thanksgiving photo with her boyfriend, Tyga.
