Pretty direct if you ask Us! Actress Kate Hudson sat down with CBS This Morning for a live interview on Tuesday, February 17, during which she was asked about Nick Jonas.
Cohost Gayle King rapidly fired off questions during a lightning-round session and asked the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star, 36, whether she preferred Jonas’ “Chains” or “Jealous.” To drive her point home, King sang the chorus of “Jealous” and added: “Because Nick Jonas says that you have a pretty ‘beautiful connection.'”
Hudson, who knew where this was headed, replied, “Chains.”
“What would you like for us to know about Nick Jonas?” King pressed. “Share what you will.”
“He’s a great guy,” Hudson replied with a smile. “He’s a sweetheart.”
Cohost Charlie Rose then jumped in and asked: “What would he say about you?”
“Apparently, that we have a really beautiful connection!” the bubbly actress said with a laugh.
She wasn’t the first one to be grilled about their steamy hookup, which Us Weekly first reported last fall. In an interview with Complex, Jonas was asked outright whether they’d had sex.
“Kate’s incredible,” the former Disney actor, 23, responded. “We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that’s beautiful. Out of my best effort to respect her and her privacy, I’m not going to say if we had sex or not. But we did have a beautiful connection. Even now I have so much admiration and respect. She’s amazing.”
The stars subsequently reunited at a Super Bowl 50 party and went on a date last week.
