‘Tis the season — again! If you think florals are made for spring and only spring, think again, ladies. Celebrities have been stepping out all week rocking darker takes on the warm-weather print.

Just look at Kate Hudson‘s latest number — a long-sleeved floral maxi dress, courtesy of Yanina Couture, which she donned to La Mer’s Celebration of an Icon event in Hollywood on Tuesday, Oct. 13. The design (paired with Brian Atwood pumps) is right in keeping with Hudson’s eternal summer boho flair. And yet, thanks to the addition of long sleeves, a high neckline, and romantic plum hues, the finish feels fresh for fall.

At the London premiere of The Lobster on Oct. 13, the British beauty, 45, modeled an ultra-romantic black-based Alexander McQueen dress embellished with a faded daisy bouquet print, muting the florals for a vintage feel. (Tiffany & Co. Deco-inspired “Jazz” earrings helped, too!)

The Crimson Peak actress, 38, promoted her gothic horror film at Bergdorf Goodman’s NYC locale on Oct. 13, while clad in an Erdem dress embroidered from top to bottom with flowers in autumnal hues, including cornflower blue, red, and green.

And finally, for the Rape Foundation’s annual brunch on Oct. 4, the Other Woman actress, 43, chose a black lace dress, also by Erdem, with delicate red and pale blue posies, teamed with ebony pumps.
