Cheeky catastrophe! During an appearance on Late Show with David Letterman on Sept. 24, Kelly Ripa admitted that she once accidentally sent a butt selfie to her in-laws. The racy snapshot was actually meant for her husband Mark Consuelos, who was out of town at the time.
"I sent him a cute, adorable butt selfie in my underpants," the Live with Kelly and Michael co-host, 43, explained. "It's the only time I've ever sent a semi-nude anything, ever!"
The "belfie," as she put it, was shared via iCloud. Ripa shook off her embarrassment, however, and had a laugh when she received an email back from Consuelos' parents.
"My mother and father-in-law respond from their email and they're like, 'Dear Kelly, we are so proud of all your hard work,'" she said. "'Your exercise classes are really paying off.'"
So much so that Ripa decided to take yet another bum shot while waiting backstage at the CBS late-night show. "Will Dave figure out what a belfie is?" she quipped via Instagram. "Find out tonight on @Letterman."
