Leaping into a new relationship! Kermit the Frog already has a new girlfriend following his somewhat amicable split from Miss Piggy. The adorable green frog is now dating a porcine gal named Denise, who works in ABC’s marketing department.
In newly released photos, Kermit and Denise (she’s a redhead!) appear to be mixing business and pleasure at the office. Denise lovingly looks at her beau and is dolled up in a colorful dress and cardigan.
Last month, Kermit and Miss Piggy shattered hearts everywhere when they broke up after several years of dating. The announcement came just moments before the pair promoted their new show, The Muppets, at a Television Critics Association panel.
“Piggy and I have gone our separate ways, romantically. It can be tough to work with your ex, especially if your ex is a pig,” Kermit said in a statement. “It is entirely professional. I am taking a behind-the-scenes role in Piggy’s show as the executive producer. We’re both professional adults. I think we’ll be fine.”
Miss Piggy added: “It’s good publicity. I’m glad we’re broken up. This is going to be great for moi’s stardom. Now everybody’s going to worry about oh, who’s she dating? Who’s she getting caught snogging with?”
