And the crowd goes wild! Kesha made a surprise appearance on stage with EDM producer Zedd at Coachella on Saturday, April 16, and her fans couldn’t have been more thrilled to see her.

The embattled pop star, who is currently tangled in a legal fight against music producer Dr. Luke, took to the stage at the very end of Zedd’s set wearing all black and a wide black Panama hat.

Together, they performed the title track from Zedd’s 2015 LP, True Colors, with lyrics that spoke loudly to the 29-year-old singer’s current plight.

“I won’t apologize for the fire in my eyes,” she sang. “Let me show you my true colors.”

Earlier in the day, Kesha teased her fans with images of herself getting ready to jet to the music festival.

“Tonight has a magic to it,” she captioned one selfie of herself in front of a private jet.

“4 hours and counting,” she captioned another. “Somewhere over America eek!!!!!”

The “Tik Tok” singer then left the stage without speaking directly to the crowd, but her message was clear: If the song lyrics were any indication, she isn’t going to back down in the ongoing court case against Dr. Luke.

In February, Kesha was denied release from a Sony contract that ties her to the music producer despite her claims that he has sexually, physically and mentally abused her in the years since they began working together.

An entire army of celebrity superstars have since banded together to show their support for the singer, with Taylor Swift donating $250,000 to Kesha following the court ruling.

Following the court’s ruling, Dr. Luke’s attorneys told Us in a statement: “The New York County Supreme Court on Friday found that Kesha is already ‘free’ to record and release music without working with Dr. Luke as a producer if she doesn’t want to. Any claim that she isn’t ‘free’ is a myth.”
