"I'm dealing with today. I am taking it day by day, and my focus right now is loving myself the best I can,” Pulliam, 37, told ET's Nischelle Turner. "Now, [I'm] loving myself amazingly well, because that's loving my baby."

"I am sad that one day my daughter will have to live and experience this,” she continued of her sudden divorce. “One thing I am not and never will be, is anyone's victim. It's hard because this is the priority, and especially having a little girl, and the work that I do with women. And I know that I'm teaching her not by what I say, but what I do right now. This is her first lesson in womanhood. I want her to look back and always be proud. I need to give her the right lessons now."

As previously reported by Us Weekly, the Kandidly Keshia podcast host alleged during her interview with ET that Hartwell had been unfaithful.

“Early on in my marriage when I was faced with this, I was ready to leave,” the actress said of her husband’s alleged infidelity. “It’s not OK. In the process, I found out I was pregnant. And I had to take another hard look and decide if I wanted to try to work through this and forgive him for the sake of the child. Like, I had divorce papers ready. I presented it to him. … Once I was pregnant, I did decide to give him that one last chance.”

But Hartwell, 38, doesn’t seem to have wanted it. The former NFL pro filed for divorce after nearly seven months of marriage on Monday, July 26. In a statement at the time, Hartwell insisted that the only thing he wants is “a paternity test for the baby.”

Hartwell told Page Six that they moved too quickly and that it was too soon for a baby. “I said, ‘I think we probably messed up. I think we moved too fast,’” he said. “‘Our lives and wants are headed two different directions.’”

"I'm not going to allow someone to rewrite the truth," Pulliam concluded to ET. "There's a baby in the middle of this! And regardless, if we don't want to be married, that's fine, because we agree on that. Neither one of us want to be married. I have no desire to continue to be married to him."
