When being famous isn’t so fun! Khloé Kardashian took to her app on Wednesday, June 1, to reveal her one dating deal-breaker: when a potential suitor Googles her before going out.
“I really only have one deal-breaker: Do not Google me before our date!!! When you try to get to know me though Google instead of actually talking to me, it bothers me,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 31, wrote. “The date becomes an interview, and it's weird. I prefer to talk organically and let conversation happen.”
And for guys who think they can get away with a quick search before meeting up with the Strong Looks Better Naked author, they’re poorly mistaken.
“I can always tell if someone's checked for gossip about me. One time, a guy literally said, ‘I saw that you dated so-and-so.’ I had never even met the person they were referring to, so I asked, ‘Where did you see that? Did you see me out with him?’ Obviously, his answer was no!!!” Kardashian recounted. “He had just seen it on a blog and assumed it was true. That really turned me off. I mean, sometimes you hear things through the grapevine and that's natural, but you can't take the stuff you read online for gold.”
Plus, the E! personality is a little bitter that she doesn’t have the same luxury to research her non-celebrity dates.
“I'm very open when it comes to dating new people. I'm cool if you have kids, I'm cool with whatever — I try not to judge. I mean, if people looked at my life, they'd be like, ‘That bitch crazy!’ I think part of the reason it bothers me so much is because I can't Google everybody else to the same degree, LOL,” she concluded. “It's not fair!!!”
While Kardashian is currently living the single life, she was most recently linked to NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. However, a source confirms to Us Weekly that the two are not an item.
“They're not dating,” an insider close to the former Kocktails With Khloé host tells Us. “They were just flirting at a party.”
Kardashian and the New York Giants wide receiver, 23, looked cozy at Scott Disick’s 33rd birthday celebration at 1 Oak in Las Vegas on Friday, May 27. They hung out again at Drake’s Memorial Day bash in Hidden Hills, California, on Monday, May 30.
Her friendly flirtations with Beckham Jr., 23, occurred just a few days after Kardashian filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, for a second time on Thursday, May 26. In her filing, she cited irreconcilable differences. As Us Weekly previously reported, she first filed for divorce in December 2013 after splitting from the basketball player. The divorce was never finalized, and Kardashian withdrew the papers last October when Odom, 36, accidentally overdosed at a legal Nevada brothel.
“Khloé called Lamar this morning to tell him," a source close to Odom told Us at the time of the filing. "He is sad but also happy to move on with a clear mind. He is more independent now and with his friends all the time and his kids a lot. So he's ready to move on."
The couple wed in September 2009 after a whirlwind one-month courtship. Following their split three years ago, Kardashian has dated rapper French Montana as well as Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden.
