A sister celebration! Kim Kardashian made a rare post-robbery appearance at Kendall Jenner’s 21st birthday on Wednesday, November 2, at Catch in Los Angeles, a source confirms to Us Weekly. The reality TV queen’s appearance at her younger sibling’s party comes nearly a month after her terrifying October 3 Paris robbery.
“Kim was there in a sweater, in a great mood, and gushing to everyone about how amazing [husband] Kanye West’s [Saint Pablo] show is and how she loves going to his concerts,” the insider exclusively tells Us. “She seemed in totally great spirits, very social and smiling with everyone.”
The source says that the Selfish author, 36 — who was not photographed at the fete — spoiled her model sister with a fancy new accessory in honor of her special day. “Kim gave Kendall an expensive piece of jewelry and a card,” the source says.
The rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan joined the sisters at Catch to ring in the big 2-1 with Kendall.
“They were there from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., eating, drinking and dancing a little before moving on to Delilah’s to continue dancing,” the insider notes, adding that guests ate a wide variety of menu options, drank Absolut Elyx cocktails and toasted with Perrier-Jouet champagne.
Ever since Kardashian was tied up, locked in her bathroom and robbed at gunpoint inside her Hôtel de Pourtalès apartment by five assailants disguised as policemen last month, she has made very few public outings. On October 24, she stepped out in Beverly Hills to get frozen yogurt with bestie Jonathan Cheban, and on Tuesday and Wednesday of that week, she attended hubby West’s Saint Pablo concerts two nights in a row.
“She is still laying low but has been filming [Keeping Up With the Kardashians] a little bit,” another source previously told Us of the social media maven, who has remained quiet online following the scary episode. “Things are going to be different for her going forward, but she is taking small steps and wanting to get her life back on track.”
