Keeping up with Bruce Jenner's loved ones! While promoting her new book Selfish in L.A. on Thursday, May 7, Kim Kardashian told Extra that she and her mom Kris Jenner are in the former Olympian's corner amid his transition from male to female.
"My mom is doing really good. We’re really excited," Kardashian, 34, said at her Barnes & Noble book signing at The Grove. "I was with Bruce yesterday and we were just saying what an exciting time in his life this is. And everyone, including my mom, we're just so happy he can be himself and happy."
Kanye West's love also visited Bruce, 65, the morning after his powerful and emotional April 24 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer. The family plans to come together once more for Mother's Day on Sunday, but unfortunately Kardashian will be out of town.
"I am actually so sad that I am going be in Brazil for Mother’s Day, so we’re doing something the day before," she told Extra. "Mother’s Day is kind of pretty low-key."
A small affair, but memorable all the same. Kardashian isn't sure what present her 22-month-old daughter North West will be giving her, but she has a sneaking suspicion as to what it could be.
"I saw my daughter doing a whole arts and crafts thing, her and [Kourtney's 3-year-old daughter] Penelope were. So I’m sure that she made me something really special," she gushed. "North prepared this thing for my mom and Kourtney so she'll take over for the day."
