Talk about fine dining! Guests at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's imminent international wedding in Europe this weekend are in for a special treat—because a source tells Us Weekly the happy couple has hired three-Michelin-star restaurateur Giorgio Pinchiorri to cater their event at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy, on Saturday, May 24.
Pinchiorri—who owns Florence eatery Enoteca Pinchiorri with his wife, Michelin-starred chef Annie Feolde—has devised "a really special menu" for the occasion, the insider tells Us, noting that he worked closely with West, 36, on the details.
Enoteca Pinchiorri is one of only eight three-star Michelin restaurants in all of Italy. Sample dishes at the eatery include lobster topped with an olive crust, young roasted duck and apple ravioli, pigeon with peas and mint leaves, and sea bass with wild mushrooms. There are also extravagant tasting menus with wine pairings from the restaurant's extensive wine cellar.
The exquisite food will be served to guests by silver service catering firm Galateo Reception.
Specifics about Pinchiorri's plans for Kimye's big day, like everything else related to the wedding, are secret for now. One thing is clear, though—this weekend will be an affair to remember for both the bride and the groom.
"Kanye is so involved and so excited about the day," a source previously told Us of the rapper, who made a similarly big production out of his October proposal to Kardashian, 33. "He has thought about every last detail. Kim will be the luckiest wife in the world. It is truly like a princess fairytale day."
