She’s back and better than ever! Two months after welcoming son Saint West, Kim Kardashian is set to make her first public post-baby appearance at husband Kanye West’s New York Fashion Week Show on Thursday, February 11, at Madison Square Garden.
“She will be wearing something from Kanye’s new collection,” a source tells Us Weekly.
The Yeezy designer, 38, will be showing off Season 3 of his collection, and the insider adds that his wife plays a key part in the show.
“A lot of Kanye’s ideas are inspired by Kim. He designs for Kim,” the source notes.
And though the NYC fashion event will be her first public soiree, Kardashian, 35, made it clear on Tuesday, February 9, that she has not been hiding. After reading a post from the Daily Mail, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star quickly became candid on Twitter.
“So I’m reading The Daily Mail, which I love btw but this headline isn’t cool. ‘Kim emerges from self imposed diet exile’ REALLY?!” the mother of two wrote. “Isn’t it just called maternity leave? If coming to NYC support my husband & have so enjoyed my time at home with my babies & family. Certainly not in a self imposed diet exile. Thats didic!”
Kardashian — who is also mom to daughter North, 2 — also noted that while she hasn’t been on red carpets, she has been out and about with her little ones.
“I’ve brought my babies over friends/fam houses, parks & restaurants but because a picture wasn’t taken it didn’t happen & I’m in exile? smh,” she wrote.
West, who is already in NYC, attended the launch of Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s clothing line on Monday night, to support his sisters-in-law.
