To be a fly on that wall. Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose (a.k.a. Kanye West‘s most famous and outspoken ex) buried the hatchet early Tuesday, February 2, and a source tells Us Weekly exclusively that the meeting wasn’t an impulsive one.
“Making amends is something that Kim has wanted to do for a long time,” the insider tells Us. “Amber and Kim are both mothers, and it was the right thing to do.”
Indeed, Kardashian shares two young kids, North, 2, and Saint, 1 month, with her husband, West, and Rose shares her 2-year-old son, Sebastian, with her ex-husband, Wiz Khalifa.
Kardashian and Rose’s face-to-face encounter was orchestrated days after West engaged in a crazy Twitter feud with Khalifa, and blasted his ex-girlfriend Rose, whom he dated from 2008 to 2010. In his now-deleted tweets, West referred to Rose as a “stripper” and outlandishly claimed that he “owns” Rose and Khalifa’s child.
Rose, 32, then responded to her ex with several raunchy tweets, and said in an interview that it was wrong for West to target her young son. The only person to remain silent throughout the entire fiasco was Kardashian herself, who took matters into her own hands on Tuesday.
“Tea anyone?” Kardashian, 35, captioned the pic of herself with Rose. Her new acquaintance also shared the same snap and wrote moments later: “Swingers.”
The breaking of bread took place three days after West, 38, took to his Twitter and semi-apologized for bringing up Bash last Friday, January 29. “God’s dream…” the Waves rapper tweeted. “Never speak on kids again… all love … all blessings…”
Meanwhile, in the weirdest Venn diagram ever, Kardashian’s brother, Rob, is currently dating Rose’s best friend Blac Chyna. Rob’s half-sister Kylie Jenner, meanwhile, is dating Tyga, Chyna’s ex and baby daddy. All is good between Rose and Chyna, however. The two spent time together at the club on Monday night.
