Kris Jenner Tweets She’s ‘Proud’ of Khloe Kardashian, But Remains Silent About Rob’s Engagement to Blac Chyna

A mother’s heart. Kris Jenner and other members of the family — Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé Kardashian, as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner — still have yet to acknowledge Rob Kardashian‘s engagement to Blac Chyna on social media as of Thursday, April 7. But the momager tweeted on Wednesday that she was “proud” of one of her daughters after the ending of Kocktails With Khloé was announced.

The Kardashian family matriarch, 60, retweeted Khloé’s post that was shared the same day Us Weekly confirmed the ending of the talk show. “There are SO many exciting things coming up for me that I can’t wait to share with you… I’m not going anywhere 🙂 Love you always! XO,” Khloé wrote.

Like Khloé, Kris also has a canceled talk show under her belt. Along with her tweet, the business-savvy mom of six posted a throwback photo with her daughters, Kourtney and Kim, from decades ago in Vail, Colorado, superimposed atop another more recent snap of her sweet granddaughters, North West and Penelope Disick, frolicking in the snow.

As exclusively reported by Us Weekly on Wednesday, April 6, there’s a reason why Kris and the other members of the famous reality family haven’t publicly praised Rob’s proposal. While each has privately reached out to the Arthur George sock designer, 29, and wished him the best following his Monday, April 4, engagement, they’re not entirely on board with forever after.

“Obviously the family has some concern due to how fast it happened,” one source told Us. “But Rob has never been better, has never been more involved.”

Rob proposed to Chyna this past week with a seven-carat ring designed by Ben Baller. The jeweler told Us that the only Kardashian son was doing well in his new relationship. “Rob said, ‘I’m good, actually, I’m great. I’m happy. I’ve lost weight. I feel like I’ve got about 15 to 20 pounds to go, but I’m good. I need this ring, I want it to be amazing,'” Baller told Us this week.

Meanwhile, another source has told Us that Kris advised her son against rushing in to marriage after less than three months of dating someone. “Kris is not happy,” the insider told Us. “Dating Chyna is one thing, but marrying her is another … The whole family is discussing it and is angry, but they are talking to come up with a unified front for how to address it … It’s a huge mistake to them.”
