This rapper’s got a new ride. Kylie Jenner bought her boyfriend, Tyga, a brand-new Bentley just one day after his Ferrari was reportedly repossessed.
TMZ reported that Tyga’s red sports car was taken by a repo man with a spare key on Tuesday, August 30, while he and Jenner, 19, were shopping for another set of wheels. The rapper allegedly failed to make several lease payments on the vehicle, and California’s strict repossession laws state a lender can take a car back if a payment is just one day late.
The makeup mogul showed off her generous gift on Snapchat on Wednesday, August 31, but claimed that the reports weren’t exactly true. “So, fake stories came out today. The blogs almost ruined it and said me and T were at the Bentley dealership when really it was only me,” Jenner said. “And I had to lie to T and say, ‘I have no idea, T, what the story is. I was not at a Bentley dealership.’ But I was!”
The next clip showed the “Rack City” rapper, 26, excitedly dancing and jumping for joy in front of the Bentley Bentayga — worth at least $229,100. In another video, Jenner asked, “Did I lie to you?” Tyga replied, “I’m speechless right now.”
The Kingin’ With Tyga star also took to Snapchat to share a photo of the white luxury vehicle and implied that his Ferrari’s repossession was all a prank. “When ur lil baby cops u the Bentley truck and hides your Ferrari. Guess I can’t be mad,” he wrote, adding a few laughing face emojis.
While the dad of King Cairo may still have a driveway full of nice cars, he’s had some other financial trouble earlier this summer. Tyga was hit with a $480,000 judgement by his former landlord for falling behind in rent on his old Malibu home. The landlord had sued for unpaid rent after seeing the hip-hop star had bought Jenner a $200,000 Maybach for her birthday in early August.
