Proud daughter! Although it’s taken some time to adjust, Kylie Jenner is on board with her dad Bruce Jenner’s gender transition from male to female.
“daddy throwback. #Tonight #DianeSawyer #ABC #love,” the 17-year-old captioned a flashback photo of her dad wearing a crop top and short shorts from the 1980 film Can’t Stop the Music on Friday, April 24.
Jenner’s post comes hours before the former Olympian’s highly anticipated interview with Diane Sawyer is set to air on ABC.
“Most family and friends feel the most compassion for Kylie and Kendall,” an insider previously told Us of Bruce’s youngest kids. “Any 17 and 19-year-old is not going to handle something like this well,” the source explained. “And especially in the public eye.”
That said, multiple sources maintain the entire family is supportive of Bruce’s decision. “They are all getting used to it… and all acknowledge that he needed this.”
Jenner and his entire clan will be watching the 20/20 special together tonight at his Malibu home. “We’re going to watch the special together as a family,” Kim Kardashian told Us Weekly on Friday. “And that’s pretty much all I’ll say about that today. I’ll let the special come out and speak for itself.”
