Wishes do come true! As rumored for weeks, a source confirms to Us Weekly Lana Del Rey indeed performed for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, along with their wedding party, on Friday, May 23, at the Palace of Versailles.
The singer was first spotted by TMZ rehearsing in the hallways of the prestigious location. The brooding songstress, 27, is a favorite of Kimye's.
West previously surprised Kardashian with a band covering Del Rey's anthem "Young and Beautiful" when he proposed to her on the eve of her 33rd birthday back in October by projecting onto the stadium screen: "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!"
Just last night, Del Rey was among the stars in nearby Cap D'Antibes, France, (adjacent to Cannes) at the amfAR Gala 2014. When asked by Us Weekly about rumors of her performing for Kimye, she stayed coy—laughing, slapping a reporter's arm and zipping her mouth shut with a gesture.
The couple took their attendees on a private tour of Versailles following a pre-wedding brunch at designer Valentino's home. The wedding party also enjoyed a fireworks show at Versailles, a source tells Us.
Kardashian and West are set to wed Saturday, May 24, at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy.
