Forget frenemies! Lauren Conrad and Stephanie Pratt are still close, three years after The Hillswent off the air. Pratt, 27, was originally introduced to The Hills as a potential new rival for Conrad, 27. But after a bumpy start, the two became fast friends.
Pratt has also been a big fan of Conrad’s latest venture, The Little Market. The organization works with developing countries around the world to produce fair trade and locally made products. The Little Market helps artisan’s showcase their talents worldwide, by selling their goods online. On Oct. 26, Stephanie attended the launch party for The Little Market and posed with Conrad and co-founder Hannah Skvarla.
“My friends have the biggest hearts!! Congrats on @thelilmarket @laurenconrad @HannahSkvarla !! Xxx,” Pratt captioned the picture.
At the end of The Hills, Pratt and the other remaining girls denounced Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt (Stephanie’s older brother), complaining that their crazed antics — excessive gossiping, plastic surgery, and Spencer’s foray into crystal worshipping — were too much to handle any more.
Though Stephanie cut her brother and his bride out of her life on the show, they recently reconciled and often tweet messages of support to one another.
Conrad did her best to mend the fence with Montag after Spencer tore them apart on The Hills, but no matter what her relationship with Pratt Sr. is, the newly-engaged star remains close with Stephanie.
After Conrad announced her engagement to William Tell on Oct. 13, Stephanie tweeted, “@LaurenConrad such amazing news!! You go girl!!! Love, s.”
Pratt is currently starring on Britain’s reality show Made in Chelsea. She got the gig after dating the show’s star Spencer Matthews.
