Baby, you light up my world like nobody else! Louis Tomlinson shared an adorable photo with his 4-week-old son, Freddie Reign, on Instagram on Friday, February 19.
The One Direction singer, 24, posed shirtless for the black-and-white shot, which he captioned “Lad and Dad.” In the sweet pic, he cradles his newborn baby boy, who is wrapped in a blanket and looking into his dad’s eyes.
Tomlinson and his close friend Briana Jungwirth welcomed Freddie on January 21. Us Weekly confirmed in July 2015 that the pair were expecting their first child together.
“Louis didn’t expect this, but he’s excited for it now,” an insider told Us at the time. “He’s become very close friends with Briana this year and now they are looking forward to being parents. He’s definitely going to be there and be a great dad for their baby.”
This isn’t the first time the singer showed off his cute little tot. Tomlinson shared the first photo of his son on January 27, writing, “Meet my little lad, Freddie.”
The “Drag Me Down” hitmaker was spotted grocery shopping with his new girlfriend, Danielle Campbell, in Beverly Hills on Saturday, February 20.
Us Weekly exclusively revealed last month that One Direction’s extended hiatus is actually a permanent split. The bandmates — Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan — did not renew their contract after finishing their tour in October 2015.
