It's over—already! Lucy Hale has called it quits with Joel Crouse after dating for a couple of months, multiple sources confirm exclusively to Us Weekly.
"Lucy and Joel are done," the source tells Us, adding the couple split because "it was hard with the distance."
"She's working a lot on Pretty Little Liars and on music—she debuted at the Opry over the weekend. It got to be too much," the source adds of Hale, who debuted her new single, "Lie A Little Better," at the famed Grand Ole Opry on June 21.
A second source tells Us Hale simply has "no time for love right now."
The PLL actress and songstress first stepped out with Crouse back in April. The duo were spotted enjoying one another's company at a Lakers Game in Los Angeles. Hale took to her Instagram on April 14, sharing a snap of herself and Crouse with the caption: "First lakers game. Was really great teaching this one the rules of the game. And seeing him looking like a kid in a candy store @joelcrouse."
At the time, a source told Us, "It isn't anything serious just yet"—and it sounds like it never got to be.
The ABC Family star last posted about Crouse on June 15, sharing a pic of herself with him and the caption: "Happy flag day to us. @joelcrouse."
In a recent interview with Us, when asked who she thinks the hottest man in country music is right now, she answered: "Right now, Brett Eldredge," adding, "His voice, the way he carries himself. He can wear the hell out of a suit. I saw him at the CMAs, gorgeous. And really nice guy too. I’ve met him. Luke Bryan is a close second, but that’s sort of everyone’s answer right now."
Hale's previously been linked to Chris Zylka, David Henrie, Alex Marshall, and Graham Rogers.
