Lady Gaga, Madonna, Katy Perry Make Peace in Met Gala 2015 Instagram Photo, Joke They’re “Dropping a Single”

Feud, what feud?! Music's one-time warring divas Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry were the image of peace and unity in an amazing Instagram photo taken during Monday, May 4's 2015 Met Gala, which showed them cuddling up to each other in a jaw-dropping display of togetherness.

Initially shared via Instagram by the "Material Girl" herself, the snap was captioned, "Girls night out………. Kissing the Ring……..Finally! #metball." We're assuming the 56-year-old singer is referring to the huge, heart-shaped diamond engagement ring that Gaga was sporting at the star-studded New York fashion event.

Perry then regrammed the image, with her own, even more inflammatory caption. "Dropping our single tomorrow," she wrote, before adding a couple of hashtags into the mix: #stolethispicfromM and #MONSTERCATREBELHEARTS (a nod to the trio's army of fans who are fiercely protective of their own particular diva, and often almost as fiercely anti the other two)!

The amazing photo appears to be evidence that the three big personalities of pop have put their differences behind them in the name of fashion. Madonna and Gaga have had a famously frosty relationship ever since the "Papa Don't Preach" singer branded Gaga's hit "Born This Way" a "reductive" rip-off of her own song "Express Yourself."

Gaga and Perry have likewise been caught up in multiple possible feud situations. While both have publicly denied any actual ill feelings, Twitter messages (such as the one Gaga posted seemingly calling Perry out for copying her green hair and in-concert horse riding in May last year) have suggested otherwise.

But while the diva trio's fans struggled to make sense of the unexpected moment of togetherness (and freaked out in a huge way over Perry's suggestion they were teaming up for a single) the three members of pop royalty were just enjoying the stir they'd created!

"#breaktheinternet2k15," Perry captioned her second re-post of the evening, when she shared the picture on her Twitter feed.
