Has she been missing him like candy? Mandy Moore reunited with her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama on Wednesday, July 20 — The longtime pals, who ended their two-year romance in 2002, bumped into each other while filming their respective TV shows at Paramount Studios in L.A.
“Sometimes you get to work on the same lot as your friends and you can run over, catch up and watch them continue to be a bad-ass (in real life and on TV),” Moore, 32, captioned an Instagram pic of the two. “Love this guy. Friends for over 16 years. Congrats on @ncis.cbs, @wilmervalderrama! Can’t wait to watch you this Fall!!”
Valderrama was just as elated to see Moore — or as he calls her, Mandela. “When one of the most special people just so happens to be shooting her show @nbcthisisus at the same lot you’re shooting @ncis_cbs.. Love you Mandela! Ps. Word in the street is she ROCKS the screen on her show!… Can’t wait for the world to see the talent you are,” he captioned his own Instagram post.
“Like you said, 16 years and another 16 to go.. And then another 16 after that.. Plus maybe 16 more to add to those last 16,” he added. “Ummm let’s throw another 16?… After all those?”
Moore and the That ’70s Show alum, 36, who hung out at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights in October 2015, recently joined dramas. The “Crush” singer is starring in the NBC freshman series This Is Us opposite Milo Ventimiglia. Valderrama joined the cast of CBS’ NCIS as a series regular and is currently filming season 14.
Both stars, who squeezed in a few Snapchat videos as well, have been in long-term relationships since splitting. Moore married rocker Ryan Adams in 2009. The couple called it quits in January 2015 and finalized their divorce in June. She’s currently dating Dawes singer Taylor Goldsmith.
Valderrama, meanwhile, is single. The actor and Demi Lovato recently split after six years together. They announced the news on their social media accounts last month.
