She’s got a ring on it! Margot Robbie has posted a photo of her new diamond bling, one day after it was reported that she’d secretly married her boyfriend, Tom Ackerley.
As Us Weekly confirmed with multiple sources, the Suicide Squad beauty tied the knot with her British beau in Australia on Sunday, December 18, and her social media post suggests she’s officially off the market.
Robbie, 26, shared an Instagram picture of her ring finger sporting a beautiful pear-shape diamond, and her kissing her longtime lover in the background.
Although there was no caption, the snap spoke for itself.
Us reported that the pair wed at Harvest Newrybar on the Gold Coast in her native country, with an insider telling Woman’s Day the location was “somewhere she always wanted to get married, given it’s where she was raised as a kid, on her grandparents’ farm.”
Robbie and Ackerley never confirmed they were even engaged. However, they were pictured wearing matching gold bands while she filmed in Toronto this past summer.
When asked what the secret was to keeping her relationship with the assistant director alive, she told The Daily Telegraph’s Sunday Style magazine: “The most helpful thing I’ve learned from other couples in this industry is that you don’t go more than three weeks without seeing each other,” she said. “Being in a long-distance relationship can be really hard when you don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. It can mess with your head. So the three-week rule is key.”
