The Grammy-winning pop/R&B diva, 44, and the America’s Got Talent host, 33, have been living separately since June, one source says. “It has been shaky for a while, but it all came to a head recently,” says one insider. More telling signs of their relationship drama.

Carey’s rep declined to comment.

Those on the set of AGT have noticed a difference in the traditionally upbeat host’s demeanor.

Another source close to Cannon says that he is not quite as “happy-go-lucky” as he usually is.

“He’s more closed off this season,” the source continues.

Another source close to the show adds, “He never talks about Mariah, and she has never been to set in all the seasons he has hosted.”

After meeting on the set of Carey's “Bye Bye” music video in Antigua, the couple married about a month later in April 2008 in the Bahamas. They are known for publicly celebrating their anniversaries with vow renewal ceremonies in exotic locations and with lavish photo shoots. It is Cannon’s first marriage, and Carey’s second after her 1998 divorce from producer Tommy Mottola. They share twins Monroe and Moroccan, 3.

Carey revealed she suffered from high blood pressure, preeclampsia, and gestational diabetes during her pregnancy. And long before she welcomed her twins, the couple struggled to conceive and Carey suffered a miscarriage. That trauma brought the pair closer together.

“That moment for me, even though it was emotional for both of us, that’s when I really saw the strength in this woman right here. She just handled it so well,” Cannon said on Access Hollywood in October 2010 of his wife.
