Holiday reunion. Former "Scary Spice" Mel B spent Christmas with her director husband Stephen Belafonte, just days after rumors of domestic abuse spread online.
"Have a merry Christmas! #familytime #funday," the singer, 39, captioned an Instagram pic on Christmas Day. The couple looked cheerful as they posed smiling with their daughter Madison, 3, and Mel B's daughters Phoenix, 15, and Angel, 7, whom she had from previous relationships.
The following night, the pair again put on a united front as they held hands while leaving a sushi restaurant in Tarzana, Calif.
Mel B [real name: Melanie Brown] first sparked concern that there was trouble at home when she missed the semi-finals on the UK's X Factor due to an unspecified illness earlier this month. When she returned, she had what appeared to be bruises on her face and arms and was not wearing her wedding ring. In addition, the Sun reported that the Spice Girl left the couple's London home.
Belafonte, 39, has since denied the claims. "Who accused me of it, did she accuse me of it, the police, the hospital, who accused me of it? No one has accused me of anything," he told The Daily Mail on Dec. 17.
"You'll see all the legal letters going out tomorrow," he added. "Everybody's been contacted by Mel's representative, all the papers, that said: 'I did not hit her, this isn't going on, that's not going on.'"
