Nine kids and counting! Mel Gibson’s girlfriend Rosalind Ross is pregnant with the actor’s ninth child, Us Weekly can confirm.
The Braveheart actor, 60, is already a father of eight other children from previous relationships: daughter Hannah and six sons — Edward, Christian, William, Louis, Milo and Thomas — from his 28-year marriage to former dental nurse Robyn Moore; and daughter Lucia, 6, with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.
Gibson and Ross, 26, began dating in 2014, and the pair raised eyebrows for their 35-year age difference. But they have quietly made public appearances on the red carpet together since they were linked two years ago.
Ross is a champion equestrian vaulter, a sport that requires participants to dance and perform gymnastic routines on horseback.
Last month, Grigorieva reportedly lost $500,000 of her $750,000 settlement with the actor after she broke the terms of their agreement by talking about their alleged domestic-abuse case during an interview in 2013.
As a result of the 46-year-old singer-songwriter’s slipup, the Australian actor will no longer have to pay Grigorieva the remaining balance of their agreed-upon $750,000 settlement. He has already paid her the first of the three installments, totaling $250,000.
