Breaking her silence. Melania Trump will be appearing on the Monday, October 17, episode of CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 for her first sit-down interview since husband Donald Trump’s sexist tape scandal and ensuing allegations of sexual misconduct from at least nine women.

According to Variety, the former model, 46, will chat with Anderson Cooper about the aftermath of the recently leaked 2005 Access Hollywood clip in which the Republican presidential nominee, 70, brags about kissing and grabbing women by the genitals without their permission.

Melania’s meeting with Cooper, 49, also comes after a multitude of women — including former Miss Utah Temple Taggart McDowell and People magazine writer Natasha Stoynoff — have come forward accusing Donald of sexual assault. During a defiant October 13 speech in West Palm Beach, Florida, Donald denied the allegations.

“These vicious claims about me of inappropriate conduct with women are totally and absolutely false,” he told the crowd. “These claims are fabricated. They’re pure fiction, and they’re outright lies. These events never, ever happened.” He also called the women making the accusations “horrible, horrible liars.”

For her part, Melania has threatened legal action against Stoynoff after she penned an October 12 online piece recounting an alleged incident in which Donald forced himself on her during a 2005 interview at his landmark Florida estate Mar-a-Lago. According to a legal letter sent by the Slovenia native and her legal team — which she tweeted last Friday — the story is “false and completely fictionalized,” referring to her own portrayal in the article.

Melania, who married Donald in January 2005, is sticking by her man’s side despite the fact that many of his alleged indiscretions occurred months into their marriage. During a January 2005 cover story interview with Us Weekly, she opened up about her attraction to the ex–Celebrity Apprentice host turned Oval Office hopeful, with whom she shares son Barron, 10.

“My favorite part about him are his brains, his looks,” she gushed. “It’s everything together.”
