Hosting a large dinner party may seem daunting to some, but going into the holiday season, Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Melissa Gorga looks forward to the challenge of opening up the doors to her mansion to her extended Italian family.
“Joe and I are big entertainers — we love to have lots of people over and yes, we have ridiculous amounts of food everywhere!” Melissa, the author of Love Italian Style, tells Us Weekly of how she and her husband keep their home festive.
Making sure her bar is always fully stocked with two signature Gorga cocktails — vodka with cranberry juice for the men and champagne with pomegranate juice for the ladies — the reality star mom of three admits that it’s her husband who can tend to go overboard with the guest list.
“Joe’s that kind of guy that’ll meet you on the street and be like, ‘Hey, want to come over for dinner?'” the RHONJ star explains. “It’s not always easy to entertain, but I love it — I never mind having millions of people over. The more the merrier in our house!”
