Cabo came in like a wrecking ball. As suspected, Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger have called it quits for good on their five month long relationship, sources confirm to Us Weekly. The news comes after the pair attempted to reconcile following Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son’s wild spring break in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
“The Mexico scandal did serious damage,” one source tells Us; as previously reported, Schwarzenegger was caught getting way too close with a bikini-clad pal during spring break last month. Cyrus, who was previously engaged to Liam Hemsworth, gave the 21-year-old USC student a second chance after he begged for forgiveness, but he ultimately wasn’t who “she thought he was,” another source explains.
“At first, she was into him because she thought he was a nice guy,” the insider explains of the “Wrecking Ball” singer, who first stepped out with the Kennedy heir this past November.
But after Schwarzenegger was caught doing body shots off another girl, their relationship took a turn. “She doesn’t put up with crap from guys,” a third source previously told Us.
“Patrick is focused on school,” the first source tells Us of the newly single college junior. Cyrus, for her part, is busy getting back in the recording studio to work on her fourth studio album.
