Ooh, somethin’ bad … or fab? Less than a year after splitting from Blake Shelton, a gorgeous Miranda Lambert took her boyfriend, Anderson East, to the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards, where they posed together for their first ever red carpet on Sunday, April 3.
Lambert, 32, stunned in a buttercup cleavage-baring gown with a thigh-high slit, with bubblegum pink Joyce Echols stilettos. Her shoes also featured a teeny gold gun encased within a pink holster.
Her man, East (real name: Michael Cameron Anderson), meanwhile, looked handsome in a tailored Sandro tux with a skinny tie. The couple first started dating in November 2015, several months after Lambert’s high-profile divorce from fellow country superstar Shelton.
Make no mistake: The “Honey Bee” crooner was also at the star-studded country awards show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
It was hard for the exes to avoid each other: Shelton first kicked off the show alongside Luke Bryan and performed an emotional solo set of his new single, “Came Here to Forget,” immediately after.
He and Lambert announced their split in a joint statement to Us Weekly on July 20. “This is not the future we envisioned,” the country singers told Us at the time. “And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately.” Hours later, Us confirmed that their divorce was finalized after four years of marriage.
Shelton subsequently found romance (and love!) in his Voice costar Gwen Stefani. Meanwhile, Us recently revealed that Lambert’s relationship with East is going strong. She recently met his parents.
