‘Mob Wives’ Big Ang Remembered With Music and DJ: ‘The Way Ang Would Have Wanted It’

A fitting tribute to a larger-than-life personality. Mourners who gathered for a second day on Sunday, February 21, to say goodbye to Mob Wives star Angela “Big Ang” Raiola were greeted with the sound of music.

More than 150 fans lined up outside the Scarpaci Funeral Home in Brooklyn on Sunday for the chance to pay their respects to the reality star, who died on Thursday, February 18, at the age of 55 after a battle with cancer.

Raiola’s family members — including her estranged husband, Neil Murphy, children, A.J. and Raquel, and sister Janine Detore — were joined by Mob Wives stars Renee Graziano, Marissa Fiore and Natalie Guercio, as well as Shark Tank‘s Daymond John for the visitation ahead of the funeral set to take place on Monday, February 22.

As Us Weekly previously reported, Big Ang was dressed in a fur coat as she lay in state at the funeral home. Her open casket was surrounded by huge flower arrangements, including some that were created with the grandmother’s big persona in mind — bottles of Patron Silver tequila, a stiletto heel and a pair of red lips.

An attendee tells Us Weekly that there was a record player set up in the corner of the room. “There was a DJ inside playing tunes,” the attendee tells Us. “The valet attendant said, ‘It’s a party, the way Ang would have wanted it.”
