Amidst an evening dedicated to the year's best shirtless performances, fights, and kisses, the MTV Movie Awards took a serious moment during the live telecast on Sunday, April 13, to pay tribute to Paul Walker. The late actor, who was best known for his part in the Fast and the Furious films, was honored at the awards show by his costars, Jordana Brewster and Vin Diesel

Brewster, 33, introduced the tribute to Walker, who died in a car crash on November 30, 2013 at the age of 40. She extolled Walker's personality and heart, calling him "so, so special."

"I was lucky enough to work with him over the last 15 years and witness the generosity of his heart every day I was with him," Brewster said of the late actor. "He was humble, he thought about others. Whether you knew Paul for five minutes or were a close friend, he made you feel like the most important person in the world."

The tribute, which showed footage of Walker's film career, as well as his humanitarian efforts, transitioned to a portion featuring Diesel, 46.
