NeNe’s not letting go! Famed former Real Housewife-turned-actress NeNe Leakes was not impressed with the cast of The View during her recent visit. The reality star, 47, already slammed the show on Twitter, but on Sunday, Dec. 6, she also told Bravo host Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live about her negative experience.
“I didn’t see any of those ladies that’s on the panel until I actually walked on the panel,” Leakes explained to Cohen of her Nov. 17 appearance. “I felt like they were not kind to me. It’s just, honestly, they weren’t kind. It’s not even ‘felt,’ they just weren’t kind.”
When Cohen pressed the subject, asking if Joy Behar was the only one giving the Chicago star a hard time, she replied, “It was more than Joy. Joy, definitely, was throwing a lot of shade. But there was someone else on the panel that threw a lot of shade as well, as far as looking me up and down. . . . I can tell you that there were a couple of people on that panel who were very shady.”
Cohen then asked if this other mystery woman was new co-host Raven-Symone, who was seated right next to Leakes throughout the interview. Brushing her hair aside and flashing one of her signature sassy faces, Leakes replied, “Probably,” noting that Raven-Symone’s looks were “real nasty-like.”
But it seems the former Glee actress is over the group, who she previously called “a bunch of mean girls turning up their noses” on Twitter.
“I know all of them are tired,” she teased. “Their hairstyles are tired, their makeup’s tired, but whatever.”
