Nicholas Brendon is not having a good week. The Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum was arrested in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., just four days after his rep announced he was ending his five-month marriage to wife Moonda Tee.
According to TMZ, the Criminal Minds star was arrested and charged with grand theft on Monday, Feb. 16, after he drunkenly trashed a Hilton hotel room and then refused to pay his food and beverage bill. Brendon reportedly caused $450 worth of damage and had a bill for $380.
Following his arrest, the actor’s rep told TMZ: "Nicholas is, unfortunately, battling a disease that many of us don't understand. We are working with him to improve upon the situation at hand and look toward the future. He's sorry for his actions and takes what happened last night very seriously. We will take great care to ensure his safety in the future."
This isn’t the first time the actor has been in trouble for disrupting a hotel, either. This past October he was arrested and charged with malicious injury to property and resisting and obstructing officers in Boise, Idaho. Following the incident, Brendon entered a rehab facility.
