While Bobbi Kristina Brown remains in a coma, her boyfriend Nick Gordon’s family is growing more concerned about his current state. During an interview with Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson, Gordon’s unofficial stepfather Jack Walker Jr. admitted that he fears for Gordon, who is currently seeking treatment in rehab on behalf of Dr. Phil.
“It hurts a lot, seeing him in pain,” Walker Jr., who was never officially married to Gordon’s mom but is a father figure to him, told Access Hollywood. “[He doesn’t want] to go forward because he’s hurt so bad…He’s out of control right now. He’s hurt.”
Gordon, who entered rehab after he was unable to be interviewed by Dr. Phil, is, according to Walker Jr., “hitting rock bottom.”
“If something happens to Bobbi Kristina — if she doesn’t pull through then I will fear for my son’s life,” Walker admitted. “Time will tell,” Walker Jr. noted of Gordon’s time seeking treatment. “I don’t talk to him about exactly how that is [going]. I just talk to him about staying strong.”
Walker Jr. added that he has “full confidence” in knowing that Gordon, who is under police investigation, didn’t hurt Bobbi Kristina. “Nick cares so much for her. Bobbi Kristina is Nicholas’s world and still to this day, he is still heartbroken about what happened to Whitney. He said that his job is to protect. Protect Whitney and protect her… Whitney asked him to look after her. And right now, he’s feeling that he let her down.”
Bobbi Kristina has been in a coma since Jan. 31 after she was found unresponsive facedown in a bathtub.
