The most magical spot at the Oscars wasn’t inside the theater. For quick breathers during the ceremony, stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, Kate Winslet and Sylvester Stallone all congregated around the bar inside the Dolby Theatre during the 2016 Academy Awards on Sunday, February 28.

Leonardo DiCaprio Has Bathroom Bromance With Mark Ruffalo and Sylvester Stallone, Drinks Lots of Water
Makes sense. One eyewitness tells Us Weekly that DiCaprio, 41, and Ruffalo, 48, who walked out of the theater with their arms around each other, ran to the bathroom during a break.
The Revenant actor jokingly said to Ruffalo, “You better hurry and go quick to get back to your seat!” prompting the Spotlight star to sprint to the restroom first, where they ran into Stallone. Ruffalo and Stallone (noshing on a small snack bag of nuts on his way out) walked out together with their arms around each other. Trailing behind, DiCaprio read a note from his publicist and then ordered a water (with lemon!) from the bar. Benicio Del Toro double fisted a champagne and water. Hydration is key.
Sylvester Stallone Wants, Doesn’t Get Bourbon After Losing Best Supporting Actor
All the feels. “When Sylvester Stallone didn’t win, people in the bar literally screamed,” one observer tells Us. The Creed star, who surprisingly lost best supporting actor to Mark Rylance, then walked out of the theatre to console himself. The actor, accompanied by his wife, Jennifer, had one drink in mind.
“He ordered bourbon first, and they were out of it,” the observer tells Us. “He looked sad.”
The eyewitness tells Us that the Rocky Balboa legend then settled for a scotch (neat) from the bar.
Charlize Theron Needs a Drink, Catches Up With Kate Winslet
It turns out that Theron, 40, is just like Us at a bar. An observer tells Us Weekly that the Mad Max: Fury Road actress was waiting at the bar and got playfully impatient.
“She said, ‘What’s a girl got to do to get a drink around here?'” the eyewitness tells Us. A dashing gentlemen then “led her to the front of the bar and she had a dirty martini.”
Later, Theron, 40, ran into fellow Oscar winner Kate Winslet on her way to the bathroom, and the two ladies had a quick catch-up session. “Nice to see you again!” Theron told Winslet, who was drinking Piper Heidsieck champagne.
Matt Damon Takes Photos With Everyone
An observer tells Us that Damon, 45, and his wife, Luciana Barroso, held court by the bar. “So many people came up to Matt asking for photos,” the observer says. “It was almost like there was a line waiting.”
Barroso was by her husband’s side drinking a martini, and a pal remarked: “Let’s down another one before we go back in!” Damon’s wife replied, “I’m not downing any more!”
Brie Larson Asks for Advil
Again, just like Us! According to an observer, the best lead actress winner was was talking to a small group of friends at the bar about filming for her current movie.
“I have to wear this heavy bag in the film and I have so much neck pain,” Larson told her pals, before borrowing Advil from one of them.
Later, just before accepting her best actress Oscar, Larson chugged two big glasses of water, an observer reports.
