Business as usual? Ozzy Osbourne spoke out on Thursday, May 12, about his wife, Sharon, for the first time since their split.
After the two awkwardly reunited on stage in Hollywood to announce Ozzfest Meets Knotfest, the Black Sabbath frontman, 67, told Entertainment Tonight that Sharon is his everything.
“She’s my right arm. She’s everything for me,” Ozzy said when ET noted that his wife of nearly 34 years was present at the event.
When asked if the rocker putting his arm around his estranged wife was a sign that things between the pair would be OK, Ozzy repeated, “She’s everything for me. She’s great.”
Sharon, 63, didn’t have such glowing words for her spouse when the outlet asked her about appearing with Ozzy. “It’s business,” the Talk cohost explained.
“This is my business, you know? This is what I do,” Sharon, who has been managing Ozzy for decades, continued about her attendance. “People have forgotten because they see me every day on the chat show, but this is still the other half of my life.”
Us Weekly exclusively reveled that Sharon kicked her husband out of their house after she discovered that he had allegedly cheated on her with celebrity hairstylist Michelle Pugh. “Sharon found out about the affair by searching through Ozzy’s emails,” a source previously claimed to Us.
And on Thursday, things didn’t seem any better between the two. After Sharon introduced Ozzy at the event, he attempted to hug her from behind while rubbing her shoulders. “It was superawkward,” an onlooker told Us. “She was not into him hugging her at all.”
The pair, who tied the knot in Maui in July 1982, are parents of Aimee, 32, Kelly, 31, and Jack, 30.
