Doing his duty! Even though Paris Jackson’s co-guardian TJ Jackson approves of her boyfriend, Chester Castellaw, the 37-year-old is still keeping a “close eye” on Paris’ beau.
“I approve of him,” TJ told Entertainment Tonight in a recent interview of the 18-year-old soccer player. “No one’s perfect, but he’s a good boy, so I approve of him… He treats her well. She’s happy.”
“It depends on which day you ask me,” TJ said of the relationship. “He’s a good kid. He’s an ambitious kid, you know. He’s a teenage boy, so like any parent, guardian, step-parent or adopted parent, you gotta keep an eye on him. I was a young man too once, so I keep a close eye on him.”
Michael Jackson’s 17-year-old daughter and Castellaw were first spotted together in March of this year while on a hike in L.A., and are Facebook official, having tagged each other as being “in a relationship” together.
The pair even made their first red carpet debut at Deaf West Theatre’s production of Spring Awakening in May.
TJ, who is the nephew of the late King of Pop, was appointed co-guardian of Paris and her brothers Prince, 18, and Blanket, 13, in 2012. Their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, is the other co-guardian.
