Actor Ricardo Medina Jr., who built his career in the Power Rangers franchise, was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 31 for allegedly stabbing his roommate to death with a sword, TMZ reports.
The Power Rangers Samurai star, 37, was taken in by the L.A. County Sheriff's office after the fatal fight between him and his roommate Joshua Sutter.
According to law enforcement, Medina and his girlfriend went into his bedroom and Sutter followed them in, where Medina allegedly stabbed his roommate in the abdomen with a sword. The actor then called the cops and was arrested, and Sutter was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Medina got his start as the red ranger on Power Rangers Wild Force: Identity Crisis in 2002. Recently he starred on Power Rangers Super Samurai as Deker in 2012.
