A royal milestone! On Wednesday, January 6, Prince George started his first day at the Westacre Montessori School nursery in Norfolk. To mark the occasion, Prince William and Kate Middleton released two official photos of their son.
In the pics, which were taken by Middleton, the royal heir, 2, looked dapper in his navy jacket and sky blue backpack, as he stood in front of a mural on the outside of the nursery school building.
As previously reported, the Montessori School is located 10 miles away from the family’s Anmer Hall home on the Sandringham Estate. The nursery is housed in a converted chapel and located on a private road.
The school only takes 29 children at a time and costs $49 a day, which is modest compared to other similar establishments near Kensington Palace in London that cost more than $22,000 a year.
A source close to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge previously told Us Weekly that they feel the Montessori School is “the perfect choice” for George. Both William and his younger brother, Prince Harry, attended Montessori nurseries growing up.
