What would the Queen say? On Friday, July 10, Prince Philip lost his cool while attending the pre-lunch reception at the RAF Club to honor the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain in London.
The 94-year-old Duke of Edinburgh declared, “Just take the f—king picture!” when a photographer was trying to set up a group portrait with Philip, his grandson Prince William, and the six surviving members of the Royal Air Force who piloted planes in the Battle of Britain.
Thankfully, the comical moment, including Prince William’s perfect reaction, was caught on camera, as the 33-year-old father of Prince George and Princess Charlotte tried to keep a straight face.
Though Queen Elizabeth didn’t attend the event, she did watch the poignant plane flyover at Buckingham Palace with her husband and grandson by her side, while wearing a canary yellow suit and cotton candy pink hat.
Prince Philip should be used to posing for formal portraits by this point. On Sunday, July 5, the royal family and the Middletons got together for the official christening portraits taken by famed photographer Mario Testino following Princess Charlotte’s christening service.
