The rabbi made him do it?
While reports emerged Friday of a breakup between Jon Gosselin and Hailey Glassman, the New York Post reports that Gosselin may formally announce it at a Manhattan synagogue Sunday. His romance consultant? Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, his new spiritual advisor.
"I have advised him to end it with Hailey," Shmuley tells the Post. "It is unacceptable to be in a relationship when he is still married and has to take care of kids who are hurting. It is not a healthy relationship."
The paper states that Gosselin, 32, will proclaim his severed ties with Glassman, 22, during a speech at the West Side Synagogue at 7pm Sunday. "Jon will either be remembered as a man who cheats on his wife and is intoxicated by fame, or a man who has fought to redeem himself," Shmuley says.
But who's tossing whom? A source told Usmagazine.com Friday that Glassman "told me it was gonna be over," the day of her interview with The Insider. On the show, Glassman complained of Gosselin's "mantrums" and of being "emotionally abused." "She was just waiting to let him go," the source added to Us.
