Rebel Wilson is a lip reading superstar!
The Pitch Perfect 2 actress was dressed in a figure hugging black and mesh dress for her appearance on Jimmy Fallon‘s Tonight Show on Wednesday, May 13, and in usual Fallon style, he had a funny game up his sleeve for his antipodean guest.
Wilson, 29, was tasked with taking part in Fallon’s popular Whisper Challenge game, where contestants have to try and lip-read a phrase their opponent is saying, whilst wearing headphones which blank out the sound with some loud pumping music.
Up for the game, Wilson put on her headphones and Fallon spoke the first phrase at his unhearing guest. Wilson, however, didn’t quite manage to guess the correct phrase (“deflated balls”). “Feel my balls?” she asked, causing Fallon to burst into laughter. He tried again. “I’m still getting feel my balls!” the Australian actress and comedienne said to a hysterical Fallon.
Wilson’s phrase was next, but despite some impressive diction and clear lip signals, Fallon couldn’t quite make it to “forklift driver.”
“The next person who gets it, wins,” said Fallon as he allowed Wilson (who announced plans to launch her own plus-sized clothing line with Torrid earlier in the day) the last go. Watch the video above to see her impressive lip reading abilities!
